The Falls Over Lake Blue Ridge
Are you ready to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city? The Falls Over Lake Blue Ridge just might be the answer. It’s Friday afternoon and you have just entered the city limits of Blue Ridge, Georgia. You are almost there-just a few miles left before the weekend is "officially here". Driving along Snake Nation Road (just off Aska Road), you will immediately begin to enjoy a sense of calmness and relaxation. On your left, you will pass a beautiful farm-style custom crafted home perched alongside a clear, sparkling pond. Slow down…..and you will probably see an array of animals: donkeys, pigs, horses, chickens, sheep, ducks, cows, etc. If the owners happen to be out and about feel free to stop and chat. They will be more than happy to show you or your children "the farm animals". As you continue your drive, you may encounter a family out for an afternoon walk alongside the road. Don’t be surprised if they wave or stop to talk-no one is a stranger here and everyone is welcome. You have arrived. No one would imagine that a small, gated and paved development (only twenty lots) would be tucked away at the end of the road. Turn left and proceed through the hand-crafted mountain laurel gated entrance (if it’s dark outside, the lights will be left on for you). As you wind your way along the tree-lined path, take the time to enjoy the fresh air and the mountain views. Don’t be surprised if you see deer or turkey standing in the road. Be patient-they will scurry along when they are ready. Looking to the left, you will catch a glimpse of Lake Blue Ridge in the distance. Continue climbing the mountain, and you will suddenly realize that the temperature is getting cooler. If you are in the mood for a cold drink, stop and watch the "falls" trickling down from atop the mountain. At last, you have reached your destination at about 2800-3000 feet in elevation. The weekend is "HERE". There are currently 3 custom built homes in The Falls Over Lake Blue Ridge, and we are anticipating that two more homes will be built by the time fall arrives here in our area. The developer currently has three lots left in this 20 lot development!
