WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT BLUE RIDGE?

After being asked this question hundreds of times by potential customers looking to purchase a cabin or land here in Blue Ridge, I decided to stop and make a list of the reasons that I feel make Blue Ridge a great place to live.

First and foremost, the small quaint community filled with smiling faces and friendly people make Blue Ridge a great place to call home. Stroll down the streets of historic downtown Blue Ridge and you will feel like you have been here forever. Feel free to join in on the conversations buzzing in the air, children skipping along the sidewalks, or families dining out in the open air.

Second, Blue Ridge scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you are looking for a breathtaking mountain view, a secluded cabin in the woods, a luxury log home overlooking beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, a rustic cabin along the banks of the Toccoa River or Fightingtown Creek-Blue Ridge is the place you are looking for.

If you are looking for a place where the entire family can find something that fits their every need and hearts desire, you need not look any further. For the outdoorsmen that wants adventure, this area offers hiking on the Benton McKaye trail, fishing on the Toccoa River, biking on thousands of acres of USFS land, horseback riding on unspoiled trails, and skiing or wakeboarding on Lake Blue Ridge. These are just to name a few. For those who want relaxation, sit on your front porch swing and take in the mountain air. Yes it does smell better. Looking to spend an afternoon shopping, stroll down Main Street while enjoying some fresh homemade fudge.
